Who is a nurse practitioner?


A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse who has completed high level of nursing education such as either the Masters in Nursing or the Doctorate in Nursing. A nurse practitioner has various specialization areas that he/she can choose to focus on. These include anesthesia, pediatric nurse, obstetric nurse, midwife nurse and others. A Nurse Practitioner’s role is much broader than the traditional nursing role.
