After an associate’s degree in paralegal studies, students can continue on to further education in paralegal studies by pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Students who have already completed the associate degree can finish the bachelors program with half the number of required credit hours. Students can also join the workforce as paralegals or legal assistants whose annual median pay in 2012 was $46,990 according to the U.S. BLS.
