Minnesota Vikings is a professional football team, apart from being one of four teams in the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) of the National Football League (NFL).
The Vikings' one of the two primary logos consists of a profile of a blond Norseman, whereas the other consists of a white Viking horn.
Their helmet is purple with a Viking horn logo on each side, which had undergone slight alterations in 2006. The original uniform design, starting from 1961 to 1964, included white pants, gold trim, and either purple or white jerseys. Since the design was unique among American football teams, the white jerseys had a completely different stripe pattern, which was over the shoulders, than the purple ones, which was around the sleeve cuff. These unique shoulder stripes on the white jerseys did not appear until 1969, the year they went to their first Super Bowl.
In the 1964 season, the Vikings, as well as, several other NFL teams wore their white jerseys for home games to let their fans see check out the other teams primary jerseys.
In 2006, the team's uniforms were re-tailored and redesigned, the first time ever to take place in the franchise's 46-year history. Even though the team’s colors remained the same, only added versions included trim lines to the outside shoulders and sleeves, and the sides of the jerseys and pants and also, the horn on the helmet was slightly more defined.
In the 1985 season, the team wore a 25 years patch on their jerseys. In 1989, they wore a "40 for 60" patch in honor of the 1969 NFL championship team. Additionally, they wore a 35 years patch in 1995, 40 years in 2000 and 45 years in 2005. In 1999 again, they wore patches for paying homage to the assistant coach Chip Myer who passed away in the off-season and in 2001 season, for Korey Stringer. The Vikings like the other teams wore NFL 50 and 75 year patches in 1969 and 1994.
Jonas Brother’s biography is widely viewed by its fans and is available easily on many popular websites. The jonas brothers biography details the journey of the 3 brothers into the world of music and rock. Kevin, the eldest sibling writes in the biography, that ironically it was the youngest brother Nick who was discovered by the Columbia Records. While the Columbia Records were planning a solo album for Nick, the older brothers Joe and I also submitted songs with the hope that their our songs could also be featured on that album. It was at that moment that fate intervened and provided all 3 of us an audition opportunity. Our music clicked and Columbia Records immediately signed us all up for our first album. Since then there has been no looking back for us, claims Joe and Nick in the Jonas Brothers biography.
