  Internship placements
All the benefits of a summer internship are equally true of a placement.

You will have the chance to explore our business, our culture and our values ' and get a head start on your career.

Here's how.  It's only by doing real work with real impact that you'll get to know our business areas, our people and our approach to life.

At Education, we have a limited number of internship placements on an ad hoc basis in our London, Bournemouth, Geneva, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and Madrid offices.  They tend to last between three and twelve months, and are a direct response to business needs.  You will therefore need to regularly check our Opportunities Now section for positions.

With the exception of the Giants, the Chicago Cubs have won more games than any other franchise in baseball history. The Chicago Cubs history goes way back. Beginning in 1890, some newspapers started to call the team the "Colts" because of all their young players. A similar name was the "Cubs," which also referred to the youth of the team. In 1898, when manager Cap Anson retired, the team was briefly called the "Orphans" before "Cubs" was officially sanctioned in 1900. Die-hard fans affectionately refer to the team as the "Cubbies." In the 1980s Ryne Sandberg was the Chicago Cubs best player – still remembered fondly in the Chicago Cubs history. Outfielder Andre Dawson added fire to the Cub attack in the late 1980s, helping the team win a division title in 1989, only to succumb to the Giants in the playoffs. The next eight years brought seven losing seasons, before the team revived in 1998 to win a wildcard spot. Five seasons later, the Cubs won the division title.
