  Preparing for an assessment centre
Assessment centres are not only a great way for us to determine your suitability for the firm as well as the business area you have applied to, but also allow you to get a better understanding of the kind of work you would be doing on a day-to-day basis..

Each assessment centre is tailored according to the business area you have applied to, with specific selection tools used to assess and evaluate your skills and suitability for your chosen role.

Typically, assessment centres last between a half day and a full day and comprise of group exercises, role-plays, case studies and interviews.  Each is used to measure a number of different competencies, which can include problem solving, communication, teamwork, professional style and confidence.

Depending on the business area you have applied for, there may be preparation work in advance of the assessment centre.  We will give you all the instructions in advance of attending so you will know what to expect.  Take confidence in the fact that you have passed the first round successfully, and we are looking for the same qualities you have already demonstrated at your first round.  Most importantly, just be yourself.

Based in the Detroit, Michigan, the Detroit Tigers is one of the most popular teams of major league baseball. Having an attractive logo that is a tiger on the prowl crawling out of old English style blue D, the Tigers had played in legendary Detroit Tiger Stadium since early in the 1900s, but in 2000 they moved into their brand-new stadium, Comerica Park. Since then it has been the Detroit Tigers stadium. Located in downtown Detroit, Michigan, the construction of the stadium began on October 29, 1997. Built as is part of a downtown revitalization plan for the city of Detroit, the stadium was inaugurated on April 11, 2000. The stadium hosted the All Star Game in 2005 in which the Detroit Tigers finished the regular season with a .438 win average, placing them in the middle of the American League Central division. As of July 18, the Tigers had sold 2,712,393 tickets at Comerica Park for the 2007 season, setting a new single-season home attendance record for the team.
