The Education system is further divided into three sections those are School Education, Further Education and the higher education. Usually with the term education, the terms school, college and university are attached with. But apart from these traditional institutions for education schooling is also done in the places like prisons and hospitals etc. No matter what the place is, one factor regarding the process of education remains the same and that is teaching. Along side with the requirement of highly skilled teacher also come the requirements for administration, technical support, finance management and educational psychologists.

The education systems on the part of their administrations, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are pretty much same, but as for the rules and laws of education system in Scotland, they differ from the rules and laws made for the education systems in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Since a teacher plays a vital role keep the system running, therefore consistent demand for the teacher can always be seen as there are shortages of teachers for the subjects like science and mathematics. Since there are too many candidates applying to teach the primary classes hence it gives birth to competitive side of the matter. Comparatively, there are currently more seats available in secondary education system.

Working in education sector can some be challenging, but along with bringing challenges with it, it also proves out to be rewarding. Most of the teachers and educators enjoy and are contented of their jobs as it moves them to keep up the pace of their knowledge regarding their subject area, up to date in order to be able to answer even the most difficult question put forward by any of the students. Hence teaching job shall not be taken as a walk in the park as controlling pupils or managing their questions can be hard sometimes.

For the past few years the salaries of the teacher are tend to be rising with the passage of time. Now days a new qualified graduate who seek to make his mark as a teacher in education sector can start up with the salary of at least £20,133 and grow its salary up to £34,281, apart from that incentives and bonuses may also be paid for showing outstanding performance.

Usually teachers working days start from Monday and ends on Friday with a usual nine hours, nine to five shift. However, that doesn't necessarily means that they have to spend each and every minute of their shift delivering lectures or teaching in the class room. Teachers also enjoy 13 weeks holiday annually along with 30 days holidays including public holidays and vacations to research in their subject area and keep their knowledge up to date.
