American Education Services

AES has not only grown exponentially in reference to the financial offerings that it now provides to various segments of the market, but also in terms of leadership and management prowess of the organization. The leaders and directors of AES have revolutionized the very institute of education and learning. It has provided the masses with plethora of service offerings that cater to the demands and financial needs of different communities and people. The different schemes and policies are all focused in developing new and innovated ways to further ease the financial burdens of students and borrowers.

By the same token, AES is also streamlining the financial aid delivery systems for various schools, colleges, universities, private and public lenders. AES has saved millions by streamlining the policies and ensuring that the process of obtaining a loan or grant is succinct, precise, validated within certain timelines and practical in regards to payback to organizations, lenders and even the government. An example of this strategy in progress is the overwhelming success rate of the long-standing Zero Guarantee Fee Policy. This policy alone has saved approximately $ 20 million dollars annually in terms of policy fees that students had to pay governments or other lenders. The impact of the AES policies have been felt across the board and students have been very lucky in regards to having an organization that provides around the clock, dedicated, focused information regarding all different kinds of loans and grants. AES has given a simple and yet decisive freeway of information to millions of students across America.

American Education Services (AES) has been serving the student community since 1964. The primal mission of the service organization is to provide easily available money in the shape of grants, loans and scholarships to the deserving candidates interested in seeking a higher education. Within just 44 years of services, the organization has grown into a fully independent and robust financial institution that now serves the entire nation. The management of American Education Services are dedicated and committed in creating affordable access to higher education for students irrespective of age, sex, and creed. The AES has been servicing all states and regions and ensures that a standard approach is taken while evaluating, justifying and providing loans to the eligible students. AES has standardized to a large degree the eligibility criteria across the board.

The AES has recently changed an extensive array of policies to decrease the churn and the overall pressures associated with being a personal lender. The change in policy is also due to the change in policy of their parent company PHEAA - Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency. The PHEAA has recently decided to temporarily suspend their ownership and rights as an official lender in the Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFELP). There are several important loans that come under the jurisdiction of the FFELP namely Stafford, Parent PLUS, Graduate PLUS, and Consolidation loans. Since the parent corporation decided not to be a part of the loan program, AES took a similar perspective and will no longer be servicing these particular loan types. AES along with its parent company will still be responsible for the low cost Keystone BEST student loan program. AES has been successful in garnering a good 200 lenders for this particular loan and provide financial support to thousands of students nationwide. One of the major milestones of AES for the next coming years is to grow the lender list for this particular program and create.

The reason behind the change of direction has been the recent issue regarding sub-prime mortgages in the market. This particular issue has made it extremely difficult for PHEAA and its supporting bodies to come up with the kind of cash required to truly assist massive student loan applications. Many other financial institutions institution that can carry on the objective irrespective of the sub-prime mortgage fiasco will be a part of the larger group of lenders catering directly to the needs of the market. AES will be a strong facilitator in the market. The lenders will still keep PHEAA and AES as the front end and these organizations will still keep on continuing to provide the loans to the students and families.

The cases that are with the AES currently will remain as is. But moving forward, the policies will be implemented to all new and upcoming service offerings. AES will be an organization that will keep on playing its role in the overall development of the students and families that thrive for education excellence.
