Am I eligible to study Criminal Justice?
Anyone can take up a course on Criminal justice, there are no strict prerequisite qualifications required to enrol in a degree programme. However you should keep in mind the following points to access your compatibility with the course outcomes:

There are numerous other prerequisites to consider to access your eligibility for the course in criminal justice that is the type of programme you are interested in . For instance you are interested in getting associate of science in criminal justice then you need to have 60 redit hours course of through a 2 year period of coursework either full time or more than 2 years if it is a part time profile. You will also require atleast 3 credit hourse course in English coompostion, 3 credits for creative writing skills, 3 credit hours for  speech, 15 credits on General education etc. On the other hand a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice will require you to have at least 120 credits in totality.

Graduates of criminal Justice programme have variety of career opportunities to take up. A criminal Justice graduate can get a job in prison camps, country gaols, federal correction facilitations and rehabilitation centres, reintegration programs, alternative schools, domestic violence agencies, immigration and naturalization services and many more such community service offices.
You may also work as a law enforcement officer.Jobs at this level are quite competitive.  You also have an option to work as a U.S. Postal Inspector, U.S. Federal Marshall, in the State Highway Patrol, the County Sheriff’s office or even the localized law enforcement centers. Or you can also choose to work  directly with the court system.
